Does your home make you feel good?

August 31, 2016

Are you living the life you want in your home? Does your home to reflect your inner self? Your home should make you feel happy and embrace you. Perhaps you are living with wall color or a kitchen that reflects the style of the person you bought the house from, or you feel like you don’t have the budget to do what you really want to do.

My goal to help you improve your home to improve your life. I believe that if you improve your home, you can improve your life. I know function and style, and I know what clients are trying to achieve overall, but in order to help you , what I really want to know is how you want to feel in your home. If you want your home to make you feel good then start in the space that makes you feel the least good. If you want your home to feel cozy, create one cozy space and tackle the next one. If you want to feel organized, start with the least organized.

If you are considering a remodel, a room makeover, or a new décor, Ask yourself how you want to feel in the new space. Perhaps the feelings are good, happy, restful, relaxed, organized, cheerful, peaceful, whimsical, playful, joyous, content, free, optimistic, and so on.

Ask yourself what colors you are drawn toward? Ask yourself how want to interact with people in your home. Do you want intimate settings, formal settings, or a relaxed atmosphere. These three questions will provide the direction on to achieve the design that is best suited for you.

Good design is about finding what clients love, good design is about building trust. I can imagine and visualize your new space upon our initial meeting. The design process is to help the client see what I see so they can believe it.

If you want your home to make you feel good then contact me. Your home should be just the way you want it. We can work together to improve your home to improve your life.
