Vacation homes are typically used for short periods of time and not for months on end. This means that the way the home is used is a bit different from primary residences. I have three vacation rentals and most of my client projects are for vacation homes.
It is not the size of a home or the stuff in the home that matters. What really matters it how the space is used, and if the “stuff” has meaning, importance, or serves a purpose. People often get caught up in making homes bigger than they need.
